Project Transportation

Project transportation is shipping out-of-gauge cargo from the departure point to its destination in special vehicles with caution. Any non-standard cargo could be suitable for this method. It includes the shipment of any equipment needed in a domestic or international project, being involved in the whole project process and coordinating the shipping operation until it is complete. Project transportation is a fast-growing business. Safe and smooth transportation of the cargo is essential so as not to affect other vehicles or infrastructure negatively.

Custom Clearance

Every country annually publishes its policy for Foreign Trade, which stipulates the conditions under which goods and services are eligible to be exported or imported. Customs departments implement the provisions of the policy under customs rules, regulations and tariffs. Many items are also published as banned for import and not allowed entry into the country. Customs clearance is the act of taking goods through the customs authority to facilitate the movement of cargo into a country (import) and outside the country (export).

Port Handling

GIL’s Port handling services are unmatched due to our efficient material handling equipments and techniques. Various machines and equipments used by the expert logistic crew include trailers, cranes, forklifts, hoppers, etc. Reloading and transportation of any type of consignment after Port clearances from within the Port to the ship in case of export and from the ship hook point to the Port shed area till clearance in case of imports. GIL executes stevedoring at Ports of diverse cargoes such as break-bulk, containerized cargo, heavy lifts, over dimensional cargoes, etc.
